TORTURED BY RAINBOWS

So. No strep. Just something horribly painful on my tonsil the doctor had to take care of. Dammit, I got a swab stuck down my throat for NOTHING. Say what you will, those goddamn things hurt. When someone discovers a better way to test for strep I'll find a (cute) doctor and kiss them.

Daddy took me out for icecream though. I ate a WHOOOOOOLE waffle cone of pumpkin custard. >> That was breakfast and lunch. ^_^; It was tasty. Mmm.

Wa. Feel. Uninspired and lazy still. ~SIGH~ And restless with no attention span.

Maybe I should go read Anansi Boys.

So, here's how my day went.( my day in a nutshell, plus pictures )

Today is Mugggggggggggggggy!!!!! SRS!~! I was sweating on my walks, and it's not that hot! Just, really muggy. Lots of moisture in the air. Blech, made me feel like my shirt was getting wet. :-\

Everyone duck over to Atama's journal and read her AMAZING Kantoku/Osamu fic!

That was... INSANELY FUN. I guess I've just forgotten how much I love hanging out with everyone. I just...

God I look fat. XD! To think I'm only 15 pounds over my target weight. :| Sadness. Blast those 15 pounds.

:D I'm gonna be like a Myu!boy and post LOTS of pictures. XD roflol, no, but as I start doing more stuff you'll probably be getting pictures of me going in and out and walking around. I'm not nearly as cute as a Myu!boy but it's something to spice up my blog posts.

I had a BUSY day today! And it's only 1:30! I was up early to get ready for the Orientation at the adoption place, and that lasted till 12. That was fun! I got to learn a lot of things about them and Robin'll be sending me information for volunteering. I need to call up the genealogical society to set up when I'll come into the Cemetery next week for data entry.

Mom picked me up, and we stopped at the library for her to pick up some books and DVD's. And then I was home for lunch! Which was half a pita with some peanut butter in it.

During the Orientation I had some coffee, and I was wondering why people like it. I mean, I *don't* like coffee... not unless I can add around 2 teaspoons of sugar and some creamer into it. Or if it's an expensive mocha from someplace XD. But anyway, it's like 'what makes coffee better then tea in the mornings? Is it the caffeine or the fact that it's more substantial then tea?'

My Afternoon's free and then I'm babysitting my little cousin Charlie. XD That's basically me sitting at their house and watching movies with the kid, or playing with him, or... yeah. ^_^

So after spending all day sanding wood (and eventually just hacking part of it off) Mom and I went out to Dewey's Pizza for dinner. We split a house salad and then a 13" pizza which was half Buffalo Chicken (with ranch dressing, blue cheese, onions, and celery sprinkled on after cooking) and half 'Green Lantern' (artichokes, feta cheese, garlic, mozzarella, tomato sauce, mushrooms). Mom ate three pieces of the Green Lantern, and I had one piece of that and then 2 pieces of the Buffalo chicken. My breath is stiiiinky now. But it was *yummy*. XD There's 2 pieces of the buffalo mocking me from the fridge.

Mmm. So yummy though.

I'm getting my cute freckles back~! Not that I really lost them on my arms. My hair's not red-gold yet, but I figure it'll get there.

Golden Pair is NOT supposed to make me feel schmoopy. I am not supposed to get a sappy look on my face while listening to them sing. Shipping TxN, TakkixSeto, ans Zukki/Adachi is not the same as shipping GP. It's just not the same!!! I still can't take Golden Pair fic though. I like more spunk in my characters (not that kind of spunk you perverts)


Which leads me to a D1 rant.


Mrr. I need to get back in drabbling and such. I also have new fics started I need to work on. :-\ I really don't want to go to Dad's concert tonight. -_- I'll probably put on pants and go though. ~SIGH~

So. Today was fun. At about 12 I left the house to go babysitting. First off, I couldn't find the kids. They'd been left with a neighbor and I was like 'eeeeeeer, no one's home....'. They were in the back though, and eventually I found them. XD Then Ryan (neighbor's boy) stayed over to play with John. Tomorrow Katie will also be coming over to play. ^^;; But then, horror, my internet wouldn't connect! Mean! Grah! So I couldn't sign on no matter how much I wanted to.

Luckily, I had Sims 2 in the drive. ^_^ Today was spent making Seigaku and Higa (I made Rokkakku last night) I was saddened by the fact I do not have a curl for Kite's hair but will pretend that someone just stole his mousse, gel, and hair spray. Then, when Ryan left and I was spending time alone with John, John fell asleep! Like right away! XD So I spent that time reading Melusine (which I haven't finished simply because I haven't devoted myself to it since I finished part 1). After heading home I asked Mom if she could drive me up to Severance to meet the girls.

Naruto Movie? was *10 dollars*. I mean rip off. They're making so much money off the cute little middle schoolers who came in costume. It was really adorable. XD Tori and I emasculated someone. Poor little kid was standing behind us in line right? And we were both like 'that's so cuuuuuuuuuute' and this poor teenage boy (13 maybe?) was totally embarrassed. XD The movie though... man. It's been ages since I saw Naruto hasn't it? The movie was pretty good, I'd buy it. XD Dub wasn't half bad! And. I mean.... I think I'm in love with Sasuke's male voice actor. He not only said 'fandom' he also sounded like he knew what the hell he was doing. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

While at Borders before hand I.... I caved. TT_TT I bought... a plushie.

He... he has these cute little eyes. And he was all alone. How could I leave Kenshin there all alone? Apparently he's been there for WEEKS. I couldn't LEAVE HIM.

Needless to say he spent the walk to Tori's house clasped to my bosum. Literally.

Also got Princess Princess 3! Mmmmm. Will post Sim shots later. XD You get to see Eiji burn down the kitchen again.

My family is so oddly slash friendly.
Huh, I seem to have missed the incestuous one of my cousin Hank (the minister) and my brother. Though technically the ones of him and Matt are now incest. XD Matt = groom = guy in black leather vest with red face and red hair.

And here's a... well, I didn't realize I'd uploaded the picture where Juliet was making a face until I got it on the computer and I'm too lazy to get one of the other ones. But anyway! An odd picture of me without glasses! ~GASP~ And we're all dressed up for the wedding. XD

Anyway, the wedding was REALLY windy. And we were all freezing. Juliet, who had not been feeling well for a few days, got absolutely chilled to the bone. I mean she was *blue*. >>;;; So yeah, she wasn't feeling well for the rest of the night. I hung out, talked, took pictures.... took pictures.... took pictures.... and eventually we rode back to the hotel in the bus with a bunch of drunk people.

....yes. It does hurt when I smile. ><;;;; Hush.
