There were times, rare as they were, that Superboy and Robin weren't fighting. Granted those times were rare, especially in the beginning. But still there were times. This was before Superboy gained a name, before the girls joined the team, before everyone became suspicious of Robin, before Cissie retired, before they joined the teen titans… this was when Young Justice was Superboy, Robin, and Impulse.

With Red Tornado supervising, of course.

While there were times that they weren't fighting rarely were these times when they were fighting villains and they never happened when Bart was around. Generally it was when Robin and Superboy were the only two in the Justice Cave while Impulse and Red Tornado were off doing… whatever they did on their own. Superboy was reading a comic book, Robin was looking over data on their last fight.

"Hey."

Robin looked up from his data over at Superboy who was looking at him over the edge of his comic book. Robin didn't really think a lot about the attractiveness of his team mates (Impulse just wasn't, Red Tornado was a robot, Batman was… well, it was Bruce, but let's not forget that Tim had always crushed on Dick…) but he noticed that Superboy had really blue eyes.

For the first time. It wasn't an opinion that was going to change.

"Want to grab something to eat?" Superboy folded up the comic. "Bart doesn't like sushi, but I bet you do, right Wonder Bread?"

Robin tucked the data away and arranged his cape around him. "In costume?"

Superboy just grinned. "I know this great sushi place in Hawaii…"
