kat8chaSo I watched Bloody Monday 1-4 with subs today. I have the raw of 5, but I want to wait. Subs have been pretty fast so far!
Anyway... So Falcon's whiny, and Otoya's manning up, and Aoi's been killed, and god knows what's going on with Kanou-san and Third-I. I STILL don't like their new fearless leader. Srsly. He's all smiles and slime, but then I spent half of the first season thinking that Kirishima or Kanou was going to betray Third-I and turn bad.
There is so much Otoya bad touch this season. ORZ.

It's so nice to see Yanagisawa in a bit part. ♥ Even if he's playing a jerk-ass bully.
Also, what the FUCK is the point of Haruka's not boyfriend? Besides giving Haruka something to do because she's not getting kidnapped anymore because they FINALLY realized she might need PROTECTIVE CUSTODY. Even if they sort of FORGOT to keep Falcon under protective custody.
Anyway, he depresses me.
TWO suicide attempts in TWO episodes?!?! Jesus...
And then there's the fact that he gets a gun and he's all 'oh ho ho ho, I have the power now!' I assume he's part of a larger terrorist plot to, IDK, arm the suicidal depressed masses of Japan.
Annoying girl finally showed her true colors. Just in time for Otoya to save Falcon!

a) I swear he burst in on the female doctor DISHEVELED AND FLUSTERED while J was shouting DON'T TOUCH HER. Is Sexual Harassment really just NOT A BIG DEAL in Japan?!
b) She's an emotionally troubled woman and you're sending her in to talk to the former leader of a cult. He's already started to bond with her. And you're forcing her to do this. She's going to side with J, Kirishima-chan.
c) J is totally fucking with you.
d) You just told J that K is alive. HE'S GOING TO BREAK HER OUT. Or he totally doesn't want to see her. I mean, she did shoot Daddy, J did kind of abandon her to you...
To show that she's now a good guy, Maya now wears a fuzzy WHITE coat. Apparently this makes sense. :|
Also blood shows up better on white.
I think, in Bloody Monday, Maya's been my favorite character. Well, besides Otoya. But she's been a COMPLICATED character. She has LEVELS. Yes, she really only wants money, but she worked for J, then K, and now Grandpa. She's a good shot, and she seems to have an attachment to Falcon that goes beyond the job. (Otoya too, if we're going by molesting.)
However, I fail to see why getting paid by Otoya's grandfather would actually get her to put her life on the line. Above all else Maya has been SAFE. She's kept herself relatively out of danger. But here she is all shot to hell.
...Kanou, I'm not sure if your taste in women is too good, or if it's terrible.
Another one bites the dust. :(
Also, I love how NO ONE moves to seize Kanou while he stands there with Maya in his arms. Srsly, Minami I can understand, but shouldn't like the BATCH of Third-I gunmen she brought with her have moved in? They're not emotionally conflicted! Or they shouldn't be. They don't know Kanou at all, and they only know Maya as a terrorist.
And now we know the real spy. ORZ. I was wondering if it was going to be her or the permy IT girl. Permy IT girl is onto her however.
