J was surprised it had worked.
No, no, he wasn't surprised. He might not be his father (he would never be his father) but J had his own charisma. More than that J had intelligence superior to most. Even Falcon, who was pretty damn smart, could not keep up with J when J's mind was making leaps and bounds and assumptions. So J was not surprised when, after getting the hypnotist to put Falcon under, Falcon had surrendered to his words.
…okay, he was a little surprised that it had worked.
Falcon had agreed to be put under so he could better remember the details of a case Third-I had been working on. Third-I had agreed, but then the hypnotist had insisted that they all leave him alone in the room with Falcon. He had been sworn to secrecy, and wouldn't begin questioning Falcon until they were allowed back in, but he needed time and quiet to put Falcon under.
That was where J came in.
"You won't remember where the key was." J whispered into Falcon's ear, and Falcon sleepily repeated after him. "The key was never there. You saw a pamplet instead with a picture of a key on it. They key was never there." J rubbed at Falcon's chest, ignoring the way the hypnotist was looking at him. J knew what was on the hypnotist's mind, the reason they had this man under their thumb (not that there was really a 'they' anymore) was because he was a pervert. "The pamphlet was about home security."
Falcon sleepily repeated after him and J paused. It really was a shame to waste such an opportunity, with Falcon's eyes sleepily half-lidded, his body sluggish but still responsive. If the hypnotist was not in the room… maybe J would have taken advantage of it, climbed onto the older boy (who looked so much younger) and done things that J had only read about. J stroked down Falcon's chest, poking at his stomach. Falcon was soft, so used to working on computers only, but also used to running around under constant attacks from some enemy of the state or another. Falcon was trapped in a cage of his own making as the government's pet hacker.
J slipped a hand under Falcon's shirt and stroked the faintly fuzzy skin. "You'll dream of me tonight." J kissed Falcon's lips, ignored the way the hypnotist's breathing deepened. "And touch yourself. And you'll never remember I was here."
Falcon repeated J's statements and J nodded. Then he sent the hypnotist a glare. It felt odd not to be wearing the dark black frames he had worn since escaping Tokyo. It also felt odd not to be a blond, the hair that kept falling into his eyes did not seem like his own. "Touch him and you'll lose more than your job."
So saying, J walked out the secret door, while the hypnotist closed and locked it behind J, then scurried to bring Third-I into the room. Falcon was still sleepily murmuring, bits of nonsense now, dreamy and disconnected.
"J…"
