kat8cha"I'm tired." Rin whined, dropping down on his luggage. They'd been trying to get back to Okinawa for DAYS. "Tanishi, make yourself useful, block the sun." Rin whined some more, tossing his blond hair uselessly over one shoulder. It wasn't like it was hot, the heat here in Kyushu was nothing compared to Okinawa, but it was tiring. They were *so close* to home, and yet so far. Hell, if they could just get to the ocean, Rin would be willing to *swim* across. Anything to stop this goddamn hitchhiking. Though by the time they got to the sea, Rin was sure they'd have scraped together enough money for the ferry.
"Hey, hey," Kai tugged on Rin's pony tail. "You know we're only getting rides because of your girly ass. Get back out there!"
"I'm tired." Rin batted Kai's hands away, and then punched his elbow back into Kai's gut. "And the last two guys groped me. Eishirou can peddle his ass instead!"
Rin ignored the obvious shadow of Kite's looming. He was tired and deserved a break. He wanted to sit in the backseat this time!
Kite placed one hand on Rin's shoulder… and squeezed. "Kai, get out there and show some leg." He ordered, and Rin fought down a small smile. Aw yeah, his captain had his back.
