kat8chaThe sea air was salty, the waves were brisk, and Tsuna had never been more glad that he had conquered sea sickness. "Nice weather we're having today, tenth!" Gokudera Hayato, the Vongola's gunner, smiled cheerfully at Tsuna while tying off a knot. "Good day for pirating!" Tsuna gave Gokudera a wane smile and ducked under Gokudera's arm. Up by the steering wheel Tsuna could see Reborn, his first mate, conferring with Yamamoto, the Vongola's Quartermaster.
It was a good day for pirating, but that wasn't what was on the plan for today. Today they would finally be making harbor in Namimori, the safest place for a pirate to be a pirate. Reborn, who everyone on the ship knew was in charge, had come up with the plan and the Vongola pirates had gone along with it. Everyone could use a quick break after all.
"Aaah, No Good Tsuna." Reborn greeted Tsuna with Tsuna's old nickname. "Glad you could join us."
Yamamoto smiled easily at Tsuna, his hand holding lightly to a carrier pigeon. "Word just came from Dino-san, Tsuna! He says he's docked and will be waiting at Kokuyo."
Tsuna had to fight not to grimace. On all of Namimori there wasn't a single bar less reputable than the Kokuyo. The Kokuyo's beer was good, and was always flowing, and their rum was better, but if you stayed too long you began to see things. The Kokuyo's owner, Mukuro Rokudo, had once been a pirate, and the Dead Pirate Mukuro was still feared.
It was, of course, the one bar where trouble was caused by the staff and not just the customers.
"He has Hibari-san?" Hibari Kyouya, their genius navigator, had gone missing the last time the Vongola had made landfall. Gokudera had thought Hibari had run off, but Reborn had believed otherwise.
"He says he does, but that anything more would be too sensitive to put in a letter."
In the background Tsuna could hear the screams of 'EXTREME' from Sasagawa Ryohei, the bastard son of Lord Sasagawa, and Gokudera's screams about 'get off that rigging you fucking turf head!'
"Then we better get to Namimori as soon as possible."
