kat8chaKai whooped with laughter before gagging at the smell and grabbing one of Tanishi's mom's throw pillows to stuff over his face.
"Shit, Tanishi, you really let that one rip!" Kai waved his hand in the air while Tanishi looked a little sheepish but a great deal less constipated. "Man, go find a candle or something it stinks in here!" Kai dug in his pockets until he found his awesome limited edition Zippo lighter, that actually belonged to his brother but no one needed to know that. Kai wasn't sure if a lighter would help, but he knew matches did. Kai flicked the flame on and continued to use the pillow as a filter.
"At least I'm not burping the ABCs." Tanishi found a scented candle. Some sort of fruity gay scent, watermelon breeze or appleberry orchards. His mom was always trying to cover up the smell of a house packed with sweaty people. Okinawa did not breed particularly fine smelling teenagers. "Or playing Japan's national anthem with my armpit."
"Hey, that is a refined cultural … thing." Kai flailed around with the lighter before leaning over to light the candle on fire. Once Kai was sure he'd be able to breath he dropped the pillow and took a careful whiff. "Oh man." Kai looked at the glowing pink candle. "Now that, that reeks. What the hell is it?"
"Scented candle, my mom likes them. So does Eishirou." Tanishi dug out a bag of cheese flavored popcorn and ripped it open, offering it to Kai. "Can you find the remote?"
Kai dug in the pillows with one hand and fished in the back with the other. Stuffing orange popcorn into his mouth Kai grinned widely when he found the remote. Tanishi decided not to tell him he had part of a kernel stuck between his front teeth. Kai'd notice eventually.
