I discovered the most amazing manga.
It's called Basquash! And it's about...
MECHAS. PLAYING. BASKETBALL.
...no, the basketball doesn't really matter.
MIYUKI!
ICEMAN AND SELA!
THESE TITS!
...no, actually, they are a plot point. I'm serious. They're called a 'lunar bust' and happen when you live on the moon for too long. ...and if you're female.
What? It's anime logic.
Oh, and the main character.
He's short, has red hair, and his dirty talking pet spanky can shape shift. This actually has very little part in the series as a whole, although the pets DO have a point at the end.
I'm kind of in love with Mama here. Not only does she run this ridiculous Neko bar (in 3 different locations!) but she is totally ready to jump Iceman Hotty. Yes. That is his name.
Yes. I am in love with him.
...no, he's not nuts.
Much. Though if you're gonna be playing basketball inside a giant robot? You gotta be a little cracked.
Or like Sela, masochistic.
Iceman throws 'DESTROY' balls which, uh, destroy. The protagonist turns out to be the only person who can catch them! (Catch them, not get hit by them and die.)
That's Rouge. She's love interest 4. (She comes after Miyuki who is a childhood friend and Sela who is crazy and Flora who is pretending to be a boy(Alan).) However despite the odds... ROUGE WINS OUT.
SEE? HOW CUTE IS THAT.
That's Falcon. Yes I sort of ship Falcon/Iceman.
Sort of.
BUT I HAVE DIBS.
Miyuki is kind of ridiculously cute. She's holding onto her childhood crush... but she doesn't become an instant bitch the minute other love interests appear.
Okay, in short.
Fun times. Mechas. Basketball with only ONE RULE that gets quoted over and over again. Sci-fi plot...
And entertaining characters.
