Oh, so, I was just describing my day to Steffin and...
Today was ROUGH. Nowhere near as bad Thanksgiving or Christmas can be but...
So, my BFF4life (or sort of not really but for most of my childhood anyway) is looking into becoming a minister. So she was sort of the... asst minister at a Good Friday service going on at my Dad's church. So when I heard about that I was like 'I HAVE TO GO OKAY'.
-_- Good thing I remembered because my dad didn't.
So, I wore a skirt and heels. Not too dressy, but nice-ish! It was a church service! I'd have worn by strappy sandals but... TT_TT The little elastic holding the hook thing BROKE this morning!!! Cry! But at least I got my money's worth out of them... I think...
:( Cute dead sandals I mourn you...
Anyway, I went to Church (shocking I know) and then after that Dad and I hopped in the car... and went grocery shopping.
We spent around an hour and a... half? Something like that on the first trip, which was just Zagara's and Fresh Market. Then we went home for a break and some lunch... (I scarfed down Zagara's sushi on the way to Fresh Market because, uh, breakfast was a slice of cake hours ago...) Then we snagged the Van and headed to Costco.
We bought the wire bench that matches our chairs and out door tables! It's cute looking. And we picked up all sorts of assorted foodstuff that we needed. :( They did NOT have Popchips this time! Which was disappointing because BBQ Popchips are goooooooood... but Popchips are EXPENSIVE. Actually all BBQ chips were expensive today... the good kind, not the kind with MSG. >> Can't eat those...
After Costco we had to stop and pick up ingredients for Pizza because my sister Beth wanted Cheese Pizza that night (which we had with french fries and salmon and salads.. yeah, eclectic thy name is...) and then we had to stop at Whole Foods because we had forgotten Shane-o's organic milk, and we needed lemons... and I was almost out of nifty shampoo.
...then we got home. Like an hour later? Beth and Shane-o and Jim arrived. Then dinner had to get cooked... (basically I helped make the pizzas, put some pineapple on my slices, fried the fries, and tossed lettuce in a bowl) the table set... all that settled. -_- My family is... so helpful sometimes...
During dinner Shane-o was... Shane-o. He's going through his Terrible Twos now, and he doesn't really sit down to eat dinner at dinner time. So he eventually got up and started wandering around, and I tried to get him interested in the BIG COLORING BOOK I got him... but yeah, he didn't focus on that. So eventually he, dad, and I headed down to the playground. Then back. XD Then I finished my dinner. ...and then settled on the MASSIVE job of cleaning up the dishes. XD
I love holidays, they make me appreciate day to day dishes so much more.
ALSO TODAY IS WARM AS HELL. Srsly, 80 degrees in April, Cleveland? You're prepping us for Snow in July aren't you...
