kat8chaSo, today is a lesson in what not to do while babysitting.
Do not:
Challenge the children to a snowball fight (because you WILL LOSE and the children are dressed in snow pants and heavy gloves while you are not, and the children will always AIM FOR THE FACE).
Make the children repeated cups of hot cocoa (which smelled funny, I hate the smell of warm milk).
Eat an entire can of Chef Boyardee (but man, it tasted good. *_* Beeeeeeeeeeefaroni.)
Face off against the children in a three way wrapping paper tube battle (because you will lose, b/c the children do not play fair, and even if you're better at this than them, they'll keep hitting you and they AIM FOR THE FACE)
Let the dog get out without being put on lead.
Watch a lot of TV.

Right. So. That was my day... Give or take a few hours. >_<;;; 8-5:15 I bbsat, then I got home and I took the car out for holiday shopping. I bought Dustin a coffee mug (it's a NICE mug) and some caramel corn and holiday candied popcorn. (I did not buy him Cheese popcorn, my favorite, because they didn't have any little packages of it. I did however buy myself a nice big bag of it.) Then I bought the box to send it in, tissue paper, and a bag for Tricia's present.
Then I drove to Beachwood place, headed straight for Teavana... and felt cramped, uncomfortable, and unsure of what to do. They really had no tea cups I liked anyway. Teavana is primarily 'asian' styled teacups and pots, and I just... not what I want to buy mom. Especially not with those prices, YUCK!
So I headed to Lush~ ♥ Where I got mom a set of bathbombs, and then a Christmas Eve bubble bar.
...and then across the way to Bath and Body Works where I bought MYSELF 3 different kinds of shower gel and body lotion. Including Warm Vanilla Sugar. (Operation 'Smell like a Cookie' is a go!)
...and then. To this little toy place, where I was TOTALLY tempted by the Plush Thomas. But I was like '35 dollars? ...don't think I have right now...' I prolly do, but just... too much for me to spend on Shane. I bought him a Diego plush and a Spiderman hat. (Damn my heterocentric methodology, I really wish I'd been able to conquer the WEIRD feeling and get him a Dora doll.)
Home again to catch the tail wind of my parents dinner with friends, where I ate and made conversation, and then sat with them and looked over the brochures my dad got. My dad wants to take this trip through the Canals of England... or, you know, just a few canals. XD Canals of some sort! On a canal boat, and I've basically been drafted to go with him. Not like I mind, I think it could be fun. XD
God. Is it really just Monday? I have Tuesday and Wednesday to get through with these brats.
And I have FINALLY figured out how I'm going to do my KHR fest, and now I just NEED TO GET IT DONE. Also, I totally dreamed about writing it.
