Nov. 22nd, 2009 12:20 am"Inui-senpai." Kaidoh pauses in his work out to look at Inui. Inui is… not paying attention. Kind of obviously not paying attention. In fact Kaidoh was pretty sure he had just heard Inui mutter under his breath about 'clowns' and 'mimes' and 'balloon animals'. While clowns and mimes and balloon animal were, semi-logically, connected… they had little to do with the crunches Kaidoh had just been performing.
Inui looked up from his notebook, his pen idly wiggling in mid air before Inui tucked it between the notebook pages and closed the book. Inui looked awkward, as awkward as he ever looked, and almost like he was at the point where he would throw himself into a ball, or across a hot grill, to escape more humiliation. These situations inevitably ended badly, so Kaidoh figured he might as well step in before someone lost their pants.
"Fhsssssssssssuuuu…" Kaidoh cleared his throat. "Senpai, what were you thinking about?"
"Ah, Kaidoh… I was thinking about how you rarely smile, much less laugh, and was working on a list of gelogenic activites that would prompt you to let loose some tension." Inui squared his shoulders and pushed up his glasses. His recitation was completely deadpan. "I have heard that laughter is good for the soul."
Kaidoh stared blankly at Inui before blushing slightly and looking to the side. "I like dog tricks, senpai."
Then quickly, Kaidoh went back to doing his crunches, ignoring Inui's mutter of 'infatuation with small animals – confirmed'.
