kat8chaSo, there's this AWESOME WEBSITE filled with AWESOME WORDS.
And I've decided to use them to try to inspire me.
Shishido's pretty sure that no other kid in his high school class know the hell what an obbligato is. In fact, he can safely say that, except for maybe Atobe or Oshitari, no one else in Hyotei High knows.
But that's only because Ohtori's just a senior at Hyotei Junior High. He'll be making his way into the freshman class in about a week. That's why Shishido is thinking about the word obbligato, because he knows it's Ohtori's important awesome solo moment coming up, and he knows it's an obbligato because Ohtori murmured the word into his shoulder after a sweaty round of…
Tennis training.
The concert hall hushes and Ohtori's violin sings through the room. It takes all of Shishido's willpower not to jump to his feet and shout 'THAT'S MY-
Doubles Partner.'
When the piece ends, Shishido even remembers to clap, and not whistle. He can't help but grin extra hard in Ohtori's direction though, and assumes that Ohtori's blinding white 'I did it, senpai' smile is directed solely at him.
