"So, come here often?" It's not a pick-up line Rusty uses often. This is probably because Rusty does not use pick up lines, women pick him up. If Rusty did use pick-up lines they would not be lame one-liners that everyone and their mother mocked. Rusty was smooth like that.

Linus, however, was not. "Jeeze, I thi-" Linus looked to the side and blinked, then he stared, and then his eyes widened. Linus' hand tightened on his drink and it was kind of obvious the kid was trying to figure out just how to answer Rusty's question. Rusty dipped his fingers into his basket of fried calamari and popped one tasty tentacle into his mouth. Mmm. Fried seafood.

"I asked you a question, kid."

Linus has that look on his face, the look that says 'whoops, accidentally outed to my old man', which is true enough. That was, if Rusty was gonna tell the old man about Linus' habit for visiting gay strip clubs. Rusty watches as Linus' eyes drop.

"Don't look down, they'll know you're lying." Rusty says, and Linus' eyes snap right back to him.

"THAT'S helpful." Linus's jaw twitches. "Look, if you're gonna tell my dad and everyone else that I'm gay just tell them, okay? It's not like I care what you do." Linus looked to the left now.

"Don't look to the left, they'll know you don't mean it." Rusty drops his empty basket of calamari onto the table where Linus' drink sits.

"Don't touch my tie, don't look down," Linus is still angry, although it's quickly fading into defeatism. Seriously, what did Bobby Caldwell do to the kid to make him so easy to walk all over? Or maybe it was his mom, Rusty could admit that Linus' mom could be a bit of a bruiser. "Any other helpful advice?"

"Never ever have sex with the boss." Rusty dropped his hand into Linus' lap and gave Linus' groin a squeeze. "Also, split the hotel bill. Ready to go?"

Linus gapes at him, but quickly nods and drops cash onto the table in front of him. Rusty smirks and leads the over-eager kid out the door. Kid still had a lot to learn. Never look too excited, they'd know they had you.
