Wasn't that what Kaitou had said? After Amazon's world, when they were all running the high of finding Amazon a family, and defeating DaiShocker's emissary. None of them was thinking about what would happen once they left, how Masahiko would survive despite DaiShocker knowing he had turned against them, or if Amazon would be able to handle fending off an entire organization of super villains. Then they had been suddenly transported… here.
"Anyone who lays a finger on Tsukasa will be killed by me!"
Another think Kaitou had said. And how ironic. With the DiEnd driver leveled at his head Tsukasa could only wonder how Kaitou planned to handle affairs after this. Suicide? Maybe. Tsukasa hoped that after stealing his life Kaitou would go ahead and steal his treasure too. Natsumi would be collateral damage in the war, she needed someone to take her home.
And brainwashed (again) Yuusuke was hardly going to do that.

Tsukasa's body jolted with the impact. Looked like the answer to that was 'no'...
