Aug. 24th, 2009 09:19 pmI love how I added all these KHR people but haven't felt inspired to write KHR... well, except for the whole 'make Mukuro forget all of his life' idea. Need to work on that.
An slipped her two heart hair pins into her hair and smiled. She felt pretty today. An had put extra effort into being pretty today (sparkling lip gloss, and a little eyeliner on the top of her eye) because today was the day she was going to get her man.
Yes, that's right. Today she was bagging herself Momoshirou Takeshi. Despite at least one failed attempt to corner him (she should have realized he would drag Echizen along, the two were so close it was nearly impossible to separate them) An had come up with a foolproof maneuver this time. No matter what hijinks Seigaku got up to, An's plan would not fail.
Although, it wasn't as if she minded Echizen coming along. Or Fuji's little brother, or Fuji himself, or even that weird manager of St. Rudolph's.
She had already secured a 'date' with Momoshirou, and he was no doubt clutching Echizen like a safety blanket while waiting at their meeting point.
Walking down the stairs An grabbed her purse and ignored her brother making out on the couch with his boyfriend. She was happy that tanbata wishes actually came true. An might not have wished for Kippei to be disgustingly happy and making out with his skinny hippy boyfriend all summer break, but she had wished for him to be happy last tanabata… and Kippei was happy making out with Chitose. An was cool with it.
You couldn't follow the middle school tennis players without being a bit of a yaoi fangirl.
"An?" Tachibana pried himself away from Chitose's lips with a squelchy sucking sound. Probably the sound of a vacuum dissipating where there lips had been connected. "Where are you going?"
"Out!" An checked her hair again in the mirror by the door, and then made sure she had everything she needed in her bag. Then she picked up her tennis bag and swung it over her shoulder. Yes. Now she was set.
"Out where?" Tachibana asked, his eyebrows furrowing, his forehead dark as an impending storm.
An sighed. Her brother could be so over protective sometimes. "I'm going to go abduct Momoshirou-kun."
Tachibana blinked. Chitose's arms wrapped around Tachibana's chest and Chitose propped his chin on Tachibana's shoulder and Chitose blinked. Tachibana blinked again. An blinked.
An smiled.
"So I'll be back for dinner!"
Tachibana frowned. "Will Momoshirou be joining us?"
An shrugged, opening the door and stepping outside. "I don't know. I'll call you!" An closed the door and walked past where Gokutora lazed in the sun. She walked past the trellis, and don the steps, and passed the Fudomine boys clustered around the arch. "Bye!" She waved cheerfully at them all, and started to continue her way to the date spot.
"An-chan!" Kamio jogged up to her side, and he looked at her worriedly. The one bad thing about the Fudomine boys was that they all felt the need to be An's other older brothers, the good thing was An thought of them as younger brothers. "Are you going somewhere? Do you need an escort?"
Behind him Shinji began mumbling about 'he should just ask her out' and 'I don't understand why Akira wants to date a girl, he never wanted to date a girl before An-chan, though An-chan is really pretty, and it's good to date pretty girls…'
An smiled at Kamio. "I'm going on a date, Kamio-kun. With Momoshirou-kun." An smiled even when Kamio deflated. She wanted to reassure him but… give Kamio an inch and he'd take a mile.
"Can't you date someone from Fudomine? That Momoshirou is a player!" Kamio turned red when behind him Uchimura said 'yeah, a tennis player'.
"I can't date anyone from Fudomine." An sighed. "You're all still pining after my big brother, even though he would be totally fine with a threesome. Just ask Ishida!" All eyes turned the tall tennis players way. Angry, vengeful, upset eyes. Fudomine, like a pack of stray cats, could turn on their own if need be.
"Ishida?!"
Ishida raised his hands to show he was unarmed and backed into the bushes. "My brother said that his boyfriend had offered. I'M SORRY! We agreed it was every man for himself!"
An hummed as she walked away. It looked like her brother would be having more 'sleepovers'. Which was okay, he might walk funny after one of them but Kippei was always more relaxed. Finally ending up in the shopping distract An spotted Momoshirou standing in front of the sport's shop. True to form, he was clinging to Echizen, he had trapped the smaller boy against his side. An could also see several Seigaku regulars hiding across the street at an outside table of the icecream parlor, and that manager from St. Rudolph's was loitering with his face pressed suspiciously close to the window of the beauty parlor. An squinted, almost positive she could make out that weird genius player from Chitose's team. He was posing as a statue, his lips pressed up against his boyfriend's. They made, in all fairness, rather good statues.
"Momoshirou-kun!" An waved and sped up. Momoshirou clutched Echizen tighter, but An knew from the way he stared down her shirt and the blush on his cheeks that Momoshirou liked her. That and the way he acted around her when she needed 'protecting'. Seriously cool.
"Ta-" An frowned, and Momoshirou changed what he was going to say. His arm wrapped around Echizen's throat so that he was now choking the younger teen. "An-chan. I. Hi."
An smiled.
And then quickly handcuffed Momoshirou's free arm to her arm. "Let's go!"
