kat8chaSince Gareki and Nai showed up Yogi had gone on more solo missions than before. Before Nai and Gareki (BNaG era) Yogi generally stuck around the ship, acted as Hirato's second when Tsukomo was off doing something else. Yogi was good, but Hirato did not take him seriously… mainly because Yogi thought with his heart more frequently than he thought with his head. Well, sometimes he thought with his stomach.
"It's an abandoned picnic basket." Gareki was saying, pulling Yogi towards the red and white checked blanket. They were out on a mission, tracking down some sort of mutant bear in a place called Yosemite, and they were all hungry. No one had brought them lunch, and Nai had started looking at fluttering bugs with a hungry eye.
"But they said that the bear strikes at picnickers." Yogi let Gareki pull him over, and watched as Gareki smacked Nai's hands and inspected the food. The food was all sealed and store bought, so grudgingly Gareki parceled out the basket's contents. "We should be on our guard!"
"That's why you're here, Yogi!" Nai chirped cheerfully, before biting into his sandwich. "Let's eat!" Nai mumbled around a mouthful of bread and other ingredients.
Yogi settled down on the blanket. Well, at least he was smarter than the average bear.
