Aug. 10th, 2009 07:01 pmReo turned over on Elliot's bed, bumping his cold nose and cold toes against Elliot and waking Elliot out of a light sleep. One arm wrapped around Reo's shoulders, ready to protect Reo at all costs, and the other arm groped for his violin case. Staring up at the shadowed ceiling Elliot took deep breaths, allowing his heart rate slow gradually. His school room was depressingly boring, but thankfully nothing was around to scare him more. Not that Elliot had a tendency to jump at shadows after one of those dreams, and certainly not after Reo had done something like *press icy cold feet* against Elliot's nice warm ones.
Rolling onto his side Elliot pressed his warm nose against Reo's cold one, staring at Reo's closed eyelids. In the dark Reo's closed eyes were pools of darkness, but in the light Elliot knew that Reo's closed eyes were the same shade as the rest of his face. Reo's face was plain, his wild black hair his one feature that stood out. Reo's eyes were a plain brown, and his face was perfectly proportionate.
Though his nose got cold.
"Sorry." Reo curled closer, his eyelashes fluttering and tickling Elliot's cheeks. "Did I wake you?"
Elliot pulled Reo closer, enjoying the warmth that emanated from Reo's chest, though hating the chill of Elliot's feet. "Clean off your bed, tomorrow."
"Alright, Elliot." Reo smiled, a secretive curve against the edge of Elliot's jaw. Elliot gritted his teeth. Both knew that Reo wouldn't clean the books off his bed, and that Elliot welcomed Reo's presence.
