"…didn't you quit tennis?" Tachibana asked, nonchalantly sidling up to Chitose. Although since it was Tachibana he did not really sidle, Tachibana also did not waltz, or prance. He did strut, on occasion, after an extremely good match. Tachibana was also known to limp, on occasion. "Chitose."
Chitose smiled at Tachibana, that little sly smile that sent shivery sensations into Tachibana's groin. It was the smile that had made Tachibana crush Chitose up against locker room benches, chain link fences, and the rough turf of a clay tennis court. It was the smile that had talked Tachibana into playing doubles, and then into giving his all in matches against Chitose. "I did, Kippei."
Tachibana did not smile back at Chitose, but his dark furrowed eyebrows lightened up, and there might have been a slight uplifting of his mouth. "So why are you here, Chitose?"
Chitose shrugged carelessly. "Kin'll kick my ass and then I won't be… but I thought it might be fun to play tennis at the same place, Kippei."
Tachibana shook his head and looked out on the matches being played again. He should be glad Chitose had gotten snagged by the first year, another rematch against Chitose would probably lead to Tachibana ruining the 'buddha' image he had built up in Tokyo.
Eyes locked on the byplay in front of them Chitose leaned over and down, looking rather like a mangled stork. "So, after this is done, want to meet in the parking lot? I hear there's an orgy going on."
Tachibana frowned at Chitose. "No, and neither are you. You never know what those Hyotei players are carrying."
