kat8chaContrary to public opinion, Charles knows a lot about Josh. It's funny, really, the way that being a 'subversive outsider' means that your knowledge of all things popular is because you enjoy mocking it. Mostly though, that is true. In fact, even in Josh's case, this is true. Charles loves to mock Josh, even now that Josh is an extension of Metis. In fact, more so now that Josh is an extension of Metis. It's all so very cliché and Grease-y. If Metis was a girl, he'd be the Mary Sue of some terrible High school Romance movie. She's All That maybe.
Not that Charles has actually seen it.
Charles sucks down his milkshake, watching the stupid couple in front of him. They really are a stupid couple. If the rest of the HS population wasn't just as stupid Josh would have already been outed to the team, the teachers, and every other student from the Frosh to the Seniors.
Charles is at work here, possibly. There has been only one time where he covered Josh's ass from catching fire, and that was mainly because Charles didn't want to get the crap beaten out of him by the football team. It's why Charles knows what buttons to push, just how jealous Josh gets, and he knows Josh's style. It's because, believe it or not, before Metis, Josh was totally into blonds.
