Jun. 3rd, 2009 12:36 amSo, I saw in Target's catalogue thingy that Sims 3 was coming out today...
So what do I do?
Yeah. You guessed it. :D
And it's WORTH it. I mean, if you enjoy the Sims games, it's just... it's fun. You have a lot more options too with customizing clothing and features and stuff. And everything's pretty neat looking (typical sims but...) and when they go off to work you ACTUALLY HAVE SOME OPTIONS to work with. You can have them a) work the norm, b) work their ASS off, c) meet the coworkers, d) hang out with coworkers, e) suck up to the boss.
As much as my sim just got promoted... I might quit. She's a filing clerk and is like, TERRIBLY frustrated by the job. :(

Sim me! ...notice the purple outfit? XD I had to adjust all that so it'd be purple.

You get all sorts of like, personality traits too with your sims. (Sort of like how they did it in Sims 2, but different.) Like, sim!me is a natural born cook (of course) so I have yet to burn down the house or ruin a dish, and I LOVE food. XD

Have bicycle, will travel. It's one of your transportation options, and let's face it, unless you're going WAAAY away somewhere? You don't really need a car. The carpool still picks you up, and the bike takes me anywhere I need to go in town. Which, uh, so far has been... the grocery store, the library, teh bookstore...

Oh and the theatre, to make out with this chick backstage. (Her name is Zelda, and she's a flirt, and also easily impressed. We can see why I made out with her.)

It's censored, like all sims have been, and you don't get to chose underwear this time, like you did in Sims 2. Then again, you DO have the option of sleeping in a bra. IDK what it's like for guys, I'll see later? XD You have the standard every day wear, formal wear, pajamas, athletic wear, and swimsuits.

FUN. I think I'm going to go back and play some more. XD
