kat8chaIt's not like Natsumi had ever felt alienated on her world. She didn't. She felt like she fit. She had her grandpa, and the photo studio, and she took decent (if not excellent) pictures. Natsumi had friends she hung out with on the weekend, and ex-boyfriends she avoided when she went to the bookstore. Before Tsukasa showed up, Natsumi had a lot of things. And then Tsukasa showed up, and Natsumi had… well, Tsukasa. But they never really fit. Tsukasa was always off in his own world, if you pardon the pun, and Natsumi couldn't find a way to bring him back down to earth.
Then everything got ripped away, and Natsumi couldn't really find it in herself to blame Tsukasa , and given her dream she couldn't find it in herself to ignore the fact that it COULD all be his fault. Now Natsumi had no friends to go out with on the weekends, and a mission to 'save the world'. Thankfully she didn't have any ex-boyfriends to avoid though.
But then there was Yuusuke, and he… he seemed to understand her. He was funny, and while he didn't seem to be any better at her at making Tsukasa pay attention, he did seem better at finding motives to his madness. When she was locked up in jail it was Yuusuke who was understanding about it, Tsukasa was off being himself, and it was Yuusuke really who understood her feelings for Tsukasa. He probably understood them better than Natsumi did.
So, maybe Natsumi had never felt alienated on her world, and maybe she had fit, but if Tsukasa hadn't dragged her off on this wild world hopping goose chase she wouldn't have met Yuusuke. So maybe she wouldn't be quite so mad at him when this was all over.
