kat8chaI am growing to hate fictional representations of figures of authority.
IDK if it's proof that I'm growing older, or if it's because I'd like to believe that SOMEONE would know what they're doing.
Bleach's double talk and ability to totally fucking screw over Ichigo and Rukia make me go 'AOIWJR' when I reread those chapters. >_< And then it just gets worse from there doesn't it.
Harry Potter's Ministry of Magic makes me go 'owjraoirjwOIWJROWIRJOWIRJWORIJ!!!!!!!!!!!' lately as well.
Just. Gah. Twitchy.
And I'm reading a Draco/Neville fic (what a weird pairing I know) where Neville has just been committed and his grandmother attacked and I'm MORE PISSED OFF ABOUT THAT than people chasing after Draco >_<.

I realize that when reading a book/story/manga about an underdog/teenage character that adults/authority figures often fall into two categories. The Uncool Idiots who don't know what they're doing and the Cool Guys who are often younger, know what they're doing, and back your ass up. I know it's all about coming of age and rebellion and etc etc etc etc...
