Sengoku was buttoning up his shirt when there was a knock at the door. "Come in!" Sengoku called out, continuing with getting dressed. Probably one of the nurses coming by to check and make sure he was 'really fine with going home, right Sengoku-san?' All the female attention had really helped Sengoku heal up, not that he'd needed more than a transfusion and some stitches really.
"Sengoku Kiyosumi?" Sengoku looked over his shoulder, and damn, not only was that a man, but that was also someone who looked stuffy and official. "I'm here to talk to you about your attack." Stuffy Official Guy flipped out his badge, and then stood and filled the room with his stuffy official aura.
Sengoku laughed. "Lucky for you I hadn't left yet! They're letting me go home today you know."
S.O.G. didn't say anything, but Sengoku bet the only reason he'd gotten into the hospital was because the police force didn't want to deal with asking him questions at home.
"I know I said some crazy things when I was brought in and stuff but…" Sengoku waved his hands in the air. "Blood loss." There was no way Sengoku was going to admit to some stuffy official that he'd gotten bitten on the neck by someone who was supposed to be dead and cremated.
"You realize that we can't track your attacker without more accurate information."
Sengoku hopped off of the bed and pulled on his socks and shoes. "Well, I don't really remember much! I mean, grief, beer, it was all a mess."
"Sengoku-san-"
"Sengoku-san!" A cheerful shout and then Dan's face appeared in his doorway. "We he- E-eh?! Tezuka-san?!"
Tezuka turned and gave Dan a look, then he gave Dan a *look*. "Taichi-kun."
"A-ah ha ha ha." Muromachi appeared over Dan's shoulder, silent and looking uncomfortable while Dan laughed nervously. "I had no idea you'd be here today…"
Tezuka didn't say anything, but from the look on his face it was obvious he had been expecting Dan. Tezuka turned back to look at Sengoku. "Whatever he has said to you, I will clear up. Taichi-kun's views are not shared by my department, of which he is *not* a part of." Tezuka fished a card out of his pocket and handed it over to Sengoku. "Thank you for your cooperation."
And then stuffy official guy was gone, leaving Sengoku looking at the 'unexplained crimes division' business card, or whatever it was. Maybe this was the division that handled paranormal cases? Sengoku wasn't sure. Sengoku tucked the card into his pocket and crossed his arms while looking at Muromachi and Dan. "I think you two have some explaining to do."
Dan fidgeted. He'd moved into the room, and out of the way, when Tezuka had made his exit, and Muromachi was still doing his 'I am a silent bodyguard' thing, which was ridiculous since Muromachi was barely taller than Dan and certainly wasn't much more muscular. "S-see, I'm not *actually* a part of the police force that… investigates paranormal crimes. But I should be! I know a lot more about it then they do! They always say 'it's just an accident, Taichi-kun', 'there's no such thing as witchcraft, Taichi-kun', 'go back to your traffic tickets, Taichi-ku-' Oops." Dan cut himself off too late.
"...wait, you're telling me you're actually a traffic cop?" Sengoku turned to stare incredulously at Dan.
Dan at least had the sense to look sheepish, his cheeks turning slightly pink and his gaze dropping to his shoes.
"At least you didn't say meter maid." Dan said quietly.
Sengoku ignored this to look at Muromachi. "Are you ACTUALLY a...whatever?"
"Werepanda." Muromachi said stiffly. "And yes."
Sengoku waited, sure there was more to come. Muromachi went from looking defiant and stiff to looking… well, relieved and a little defeated.
"I'm not even a policeman, I play the sax at the Night Howl."
Sengoku shook his head and went about getting his things. He was out of there, and vampires or not, he was going home and sleeping in his own bed. It wasn't like Minami hadn't been upset he'd bitten Sengoku. Sengoku'd go and pick up some vampire hunting paraphernalia, maybe stop at a shrine and get some wards or something…
"But Sengoku-san! There is such a thing are vampires!" Dan said loudly enough to be heard by the nurses down the hall. "And we can help!"
Sengoku patted Dan on the head when he walked by. "Unlucky for you Dan-kun, I don't really want your help."
