Dec. 4th, 2008 01:40 pmDino ducked, a glass bottle crashing into the wall at a spot where his head had been seconds before. Dodging to the left Dino managed to avoid the shower of glass shards. "Now, Kyou-" Dino skittered backwards, hopping over a chair and flipping it up to block Hibari's sword thrust. "Kyouya, I know you're upset." Dino kept a hold on the chair, pushing it forward and trapping Kyouya's sword in the wood.
Hibari Kyouya glared at Dino, tossing his sword away and lunging at Dino with bare hands, well, hands that suddenly had two wooden tonfa in them, the blunt weapons prepared to slam Dino's windpipe shut.
Dino quickly flipped out his whip, snapping it in Kyouya's face. The whipcrack was loud in the near empty bar. The Kokuyo, usually filled to the brim with rowdy sailors, had cleared out hours ago after Hibari had knocked several rowdy sailors on their asses. "Kyouya, c'mon, Tsuna'll be here any day now!"
"Any hour, pyon, I heard that the Vongola were sighted coming into the harbor!" Came a shout from behind the bar. Ken was watching the fight from behind the small protection afforded by the bar, a half-finished bottle of rum held loosely in one hand.
Dino shot Ken a look, though Ken was the only member of the Kokuyo staff Dino felt comfortable with the other man both irritated him and made him wary. "See Kyouya? You sh- shit." Dino stopped talking, focused only on protecting his windpipe and his assets and if possible keeping the fighting away from where Romario was watching in the corner.
The creak of the Kokuyo's front door hinges and then, "Dino-san!" Dino looked, briefly distracted from the fight by the sight of his little brother and the Vongola's men clustered in the doorway. Dino smiled, then winced, toppling backwards and feeling a painful bruise forming on his jaw. Owww…
"Ah! Hibari-san!" Tsuna stepped into the bar, his men fanning out behind him. "We were worried!" Despite Tsuna's statement several of his men had weapons out, or hands on weapons.
"Let's not make a mess of my bar, skylark." Mukuro Rokudo stood on the staircase that lead to the rooms Kokuyo rented, his body half leaning over the railing. "You've already chased out my customers." Behind Mukuro was the slight but overtly feminine figure of Chrome Dokuro, a sometimes bar wench and sometimes member of the Vongola crew, depending on what Mukuro wished.
Dino, from his position on the floor, gave the ceiling of Mukuro's bar a serious look. The man was going to have to worry about leaks. "Well, now that we're all gathered…"
