kat8chaItsuki had time to prepare for this. It had taken a few days, but Kite, Rin, and Chinen were all finally out of the building. Itsuki wasn't sure why but he didn't sense their minds (or the lack of sensation their minds gave off) when he pushed his power out of the room. Itsuki could sense Tanishi, his mind dark and black and hungry, like a black hole. There were Aragaki and Shiranui, the sensation of their minds like a reflective light, faint and only seen from certain angles. Itsuki took a deep breath. He had tested the door on certain occasions, and he knew that with one good kick it would give. It would be getting out the warehouse that would be the problem.
But Itsuki was hoping he could handle it.
"1… 2…" Itsuki took another deep breath and let it out before bracing himself. "3!" Itsuki kicked the door and was running through it before it was completely finished swinging open.
Surprise, shock, the beginnings of anger…
Itsuki centered his mind and unleashed one loud psychic shout at the minds inside the warehouse. It was a primitive attack and wouldn't have worked if Itsuki had not spent so much time around them.
Itsuki was out of the warehouse and pelting down a random back alley. The sidewalk bit into Itsuki's feet and scraped at his toes. SAE-SAN, Itsuki couldn't take the time to center his thoughts and focus. He needed to be fast, loud, and he had never been really good at directing his thoughts to anyone outside of a 20 foot radius, RYOU, BANE, KENTAROU, DA-
There was a brush to his mind, a familiar, cold, brush and Itsuki shut down, his shields slamming into place. It wouldn't have worked if Kite wasn't across town.
There was cursing behind him, and panting too. Itsuki took a sudden turn down another one of the alleys. He needed to get far enough away, or at least buy time until the rest of Rokkaku could get to him.
But Itsuki was hoping he could handle it.
