kat8chaSo my little sister and I have this ELABORATE plot about the Goldfish characters, you know, the goldfish characters from the commercials. Anyway, we've decided that Xtreme (the Flavor Blasted Goldfish ... goldfish) and Gilbert (Pretzel Goldfish) are totally involved. GIlbert is the shy unsure boyfriend who totally made the first move, and Xtreme is the clueless boy who... totally pounces. ANYWAY guess what I saw at Target.
Xtreme couldn't help but notice that, lately, Gilbert had been acting a little strange around him. Course, Gilbert was a strange fish anyway, I mean, what was up with all that salt? And brown… dude, Gilbert was the only brown fish around. Not that Xtreme was discriminating. Xtreme kind of liked the brown, it made Gilbert look hot. The salt too.
Lately though, Gilbert had been like… avoiding Xtreme. Xtreme thought maybe it was because his latest stunt had scared Gilbert off, Xtreme had shed flavor ALL OVER the other fish, but naw, it seemed like it was something else. Something that had him worriedly talking to Brooke and Finn while shooting nervous glances in Xtreme's direction. Brooke and Finn both gave Gilbert encouraging smiles before swimming off. Xtreme watched, pensively, as Gilbert swum his way over.
"Dude, what was that about?" Xtreme flashed an extreme grin at Gilbert. "Looked like you guys were talking about me."
"Well." Gilbert did this wiggle in mid air that drew Xtreme's attention to Gilbert's totally cute tailfin. "We were."
"Oh?" Xtreme looked interested, and not at all like he'd been checking out Gilbert's tail. "Dude, anything I should know about?"
Gilbert squirmed again and then darted forward to mash mouths with Xtreme. "I like you!"
Xtreme froze, his eyes wide and surprised. Dude. Had Gilbert… but wasn't that supposed to be like a girl thing? Not that there were many girl Goldfish around, and Brooke and Finn were kind of hooking up… And Gilbert was awfully cute. "Well, dude," Xtreme grinned. "You should have said something!" Pouncing Gilbert extreme totally set out to explore all those salt crystals.
"Xtreme!!! You're getting flavor all over me!"
