kat8chaSo I learned a new phrase from TV Tropes called 'little black dress'. Apparently it's a nicer way of saying 'fandom bicycle'. So here's to Fuji, my LBD.
When Eiji had learned that Oishi was dating Tezuka, it had seemed natural to go to Fuji.

Eiji had known for a while that he and Oishi weren't meant to be in a relationship. Oishi cared for him, that was obvious, but he wasn't in love with Eiji. Eiji had been in love with Oishi since their second year of junior high, though he hadn't realized it until a year later. He'd kept it quite though. Oishi would never reject him but… Eiji knew it would change things.
"So he and Tezuka have finally fallen in together?" Fuji questioned while patting Eiji's back. Eiji clung to the bottle of beer Fuji had liberated from his fathers stash in the basement.
"Yeah." Eiji sniffled, making a face as he took another sip of the beer. Fuji had said it would make him feel better, and Eiji knew that beer was what people drunk in his sister's yaoi manga when they were dumped. Still it tasted awful. Why couldn't people drink something that tasted decent? Like cherry juice, Eiji liked cherry juice. Maybe they drank beer because it was so bad, and they felt so bad they wanted to drink something that tasted as bad as they felt.
"Mmm." Fuji's hand moved in slow circles on Eiji's back, and Eiji found himself relaxing into Fuji as he started feeling fuzzy and warm all over. Warm and fuzzy was nice Eiji decided he liked it.
Fuji's hand slipped from Eiji's back to rest on Eiji's hip, and Eiji sighed as he was pulled closer to Fuji, resting his head against Fuji's shoulder. "You wouldn't run off on me for Tezuka would you Fuji?" Fuji chuckled, his laugh resonating through Eiji's body.
"I don't know." Fuji stroked his hand up and down Eiji's side. "If Oishi and Tezuka ever broke up you'd probably run off to Oishi before I ran to Tezuka."
Eiji murmured something under his breath, his eyes sliding shut. Warm, relaxed, and with the person he trusted the most Eiji sighed. "Naw… I'd stay with you." Oishi had broken his heart once and Eiji was not sure he could ever trust Oishi completely with it again. Though Oishi hadn't really known, Oishi was kind of clueless like that. It was one of the things Eiji liked about him. Oishi treated everyone well, and he gave Eiji special treatment because they were friends. Eiji hoped Oishi wouldn't notice that Eiji was trying to keep his distance. Oishi would ask questions then and Eiji would feel so awkward…
"That's good to know." Fuji leaned his head against the top of Eiji's head. "I'm glad you came to me, Eiji."
"Mmm." Eiji snuggled up against Fuji's side. He felt kind of worn out emotionally and his body was following suit. "I trust you, Fuji. More than I trust me."
