kat8chaAoi snuck, ninja style, around the corner.
He could see some of the Hyotei guys loitering around the entrance. Aoi needed to get inside. If Aoi could get inside maybe he could find out where Higa was holed up. If Aoi could find where Higa was holed up he could find Ittchan! Then Aoi would be a hero and Ittchan’s little sister, who was going to be arriving in a few days from off planet, would fall into Aoi’s arms and love him forever!
Aoi’d been attempting to woe Ittchan’s sister Mariko for YEARS.
Aoi’s communicator vibrated in his pocket. Ducking back around the corner so that the Hyotei people wouldn’t see him Aoi answered. “Whaaat?”
“Kentarou,” Saeki sounded harried. “Look, head over to Davide’s apartment will you? He’s going to need back up. He’ll tell you what’s going on once you get there.” Then there was a buzz as Saeki hung up. Aoi frowned at the phone, puzzled.
Over by Hyotei one of the psychics scratched their head, suddenly beset by confusion.
“Whatever.” Aoi tucked the phone into his pocket and jogged off. He’d ask Davide. Davide had been really quiet since Ojii’s death and Itsuki’s kidnapping but Aoi was sure Davide would tell him what was going on.
