kat8chaBane felt his chances for a heart attack rise as Ryou talked to them.
He couldn’t believe that… really it was… just… shit. “You talked to him in your apartment alone?” Bane growled. Ryou looked totally uncaring, unconcerned that he had sat down and had tea with Itsuki’s kidnapper.
With Ojii’s killer.
“He didn’t seem dangerous.” Ryou nonchalantly flipped long hair over one shoulder. Aoi was gaping at him, and Saeki was holding his head in one hand. Davide, seated across from Ryou, had yet to say a word or show any sort of expression. “I wasn’t happy about it at first either.”
“Oh yeah?” Bane’s hands clenched and unclenched. Bane was stamping on the urge to shake Ryou, or to pat him down and make sure he was all there. Ryou could have been gone just as easily as Itsuki. “When did you get happy about it Ryou?”
“When he offered me a deal.” Ryou pulled out a small data chip from his pocket. “Now are you going to calm down and listen or do you want them to leave the planet and talk Ittchan with them?”
Saeki placed a calming hand on Bane’s shoulder, projecting the soothing sounds of ocean waves. Bane shrugged him off and moved to take a seat next to Davide.
Saeki sighed. “We’re listening Ryou. Tell us what Higa had to say.”
