Jun. 17th, 2008 03:21 pmI love how politics starts to work at a young age.
Me: ~babysitting~
Katie: How old are you?
Me: ~trying not to slice thumb off while using a knife to get skin off apples for Christina and Ryan~ ...20?
Katie: Oh. How old do you have to be to vote?
Me: ...18.... ~has bad feeling about this~
Katie: So you can vote! Who do you want to be president?
Me: >____<;;; I'm not telling.
Katie: :( Oh. Well, I know who I want for president.
Me: ...Who?
Katie: John McCain.
Me: ...why?
Katie: My dad likes him. And I don't like Barrack Obama's ideas.
Me: Why not?
Katie: ...I just don't.
It's nice to know that political brainwashing starts young! I'm proud of America's parents and teachers for making us all politically conscious.
