kat8chaThe spank was sharp, and sudden. Inui jolted forward a step and then turned to frown at Yanagi.
< “Renji.” Yanagi glanced up at Inui, a book held loosely in one hand. They had decided to peruse the book store for each others birthday gifts, and since Inui had been tied up with team and family obligations on his own birthday they had decided to do it on Renji’s. “It is no longer my birthday.”
Yanagi closed the book of poetry he had been reading and slid it back onto the book shelf. “No, but we did not meet on your birthday and since I am buying you your birthday present today I may as well deliver your birthday spankings.”
“Really.” Inui’s glasses glinted and he turned towards Yanagi. “There is a-”
“100% chance that you will attempt to deliver all of them.” Yanagi nodded amicably. “Just as you will attempt to avoid them Sadaharu. It was why I began when your guard was down.”
“Now my guard will be up, you will not get another one in, Kyoju.”
Yanagi picked up another book and looked it over. “So you believe, Hakase.”/lj-cut>
