kat8cha~twitches~ I have this urge. We've been talking about gender roles and such in both my classes and now... ~fingers twitch~ I want to create this experiment to totally fuck up a kid. I mean, if you took a boy. And raised them from birth to think they were a girl. And surrounded them with girly stuff and managed to convince them that all girls had penises... and such. Would you get a girl? And vice versa for a boy. Would they grow up to like the 'opposite sex'? Or would they like the 'same sex'? Would the boys show agressive tendencies as a child? Would the girls?
What about hormones? What would the testosterone or estrogen do? What about holistic thinking?
It'd have to be a massive project. I'd need a bunch of boys and girls, different ethnicities and with trained parents in a controlled environment. >< God.... I'd never get funding. I'm a mad scientist.
