Meme stolen from [profile] aiwritingfic. Iz I bored and attempting to stay awake? Yes. (Cause I've slept ALL DAY)

How about a brief introduction ?

[personal profile] kat8cha here! Er. Been writing since I was a little kid, though I only got into fanfic around 4 years now.

Fabulous! And what got you into fanfiction to begin with?

Clamp Campus Detectives. I went looking for pictures of them... and found fanfic. After that I was hooked? Though I had been reading fanfic before that I believe...

I see. So what kind of fanfiction do you like to write?

Slash? Er... Humor mixed with romance is generally why I call my 'genre'.

Do you find writing easy? Hard? What are the aspects of writing you struggle most with?

Easy. XD Unless it's me writing a long piece. I tend to wrestle with inspiration and words and it's obvious at what point I lost my mojo. So, writing long continuous pieces,  and keeping my tenses straight are my weaknesses.

Write a few sentences or so of your favorite pairing or character.

Oh. There's... so many, but I'll go with this one -

Fuji stuck the spoon in his mouth, licking the lingering bit of soup off of it. It was a good soup, so good Fuji had finished it all up. Now Fuji was left with the problem of the soup pot.

"Fuji, have you seen..." Tezuka paused in the door of the kitchen as his eyes were drawn to the pot in front of Fuji. "..."

Fuji sidled in front the soup pot with a smile. Pulling the spoon out of his mouth Fuji tossed it into the kitchen sink. "Have I seen what Tezuka?" Maybe if Fuji was in the way Tezuka would miss the rather blackened, burned, and holey pot. It was possible after all!

"Did you burn a hole in my soup pot?" Tezuka questioned, even though it was obvious he knew the answer.

Fuji smiled brightly at him. "Of course not! My soup did." Who knew wasabi soup would be that dangerous?

Are there any fanfiction clichés or trends you're sick of or just can't stand?

Errrrrrrrrrrrr.... death fic. I hate death fic. Or EXTREME schmoop. First person POV... um, Cancer!Fic. >>;; Hmm.

Are you guilty of any fanfiction clichés you hate? Or any other ones?

Not that I hate, well, maybe the extreme schmoop. I also write AU's, have used OC's, and have written rape fic. >>;

What was the first fandom you wrote for, and do you still like/participate in it?

Clamp fandom. I really don't participate in it now, and I did not participate much in it before. Though I am stalking the Syaorancest community now...

Name your OTPs or most frequently written pairings/characters and explain what it is about them that you love to write.

Tezuka/Fuji
I just love the way these two work together. Tezuka's so stern and Fuji's so very... himself.

Chitose/Tachibana
Again another pairing of 'Stern' and 'BIZARRE'. Chitose is well and truly one of the strangest characters I've ever dealt with. When I write him I put a lot of myself into him, a lot of my though patterns, though writing him does feel like I am kind of cracked in the head. I love how Tachibana and Chitose play off of each other, and how Chitose brings out Tachibana's beast.

What would you call your writing style?

Hmmm.... Relaxed. I use a lot of contractions and rarely use big words.

Do you read other people’s fanfic? If so, what do you find yourself reading the most?

Sure I do! Um, I end up reading... lots of things. Humor, porn, ... not a lot of just romance.

Name one thing you'd LOVE to write, but have been too afraid or shy to do.

HMMMMMMM. I dunno really. I'm pretty open to writing just about anything I want to.

Do you have trouble taking criticism? Or worse yet, do you have the dreaded bloated ego?

D: OH NOEZ THE EGO! Yeah, yeah, I probably have it. I dread criticism only because I know what my own faults are.

When you write, is there anything that helps? Music? Quiet room?

Being in my own room, or being somewhere comfortable and alone.

What inspires you?

Lots of things... taking walks does a lot to inspire me, or I get inspired while doing the dishes, or I get inspired while talking to people. Good fic or art inspires me as well.

Lastly, how would you sum up your fanfiction experiences and yourself as a writer?

Enjoyable! I've had a good run, written good fics, and made good friends. My skills have evolved so I am a much better writer than before.

Tag some friends because they'll hate you for it.

Pfffffffft. Do I ever tag?
