kat8cha“This sucks.” Marui said dismally as he stared into his bottle of all natural no sugar added caffeine free green tea.
“Really, really, really sucks.” After Marui’s latest dental appointment, where he had three cavities filled and six more to go, Marui had stated loudly that he would abstain from all sodas and candies for as long as possible. Unfortunately for him Yanagi had happened to overhead and passed the information on to Yukimura who believed it to be a marvelous idea.
And so Marui’s current diet had come about.
“It’s your own fault.” Jackal’s lunch box was filled with strange and foreign looking foods. Marui had tried some once, but it had nearly burned a hole in his tongue and he had never stolen Jackal’s lunch again.
“Shut up.” Marui poked at his completely vegetarian and all natural lunch. Niou had taken to checking Marui’s lunch box every morning and substituting his own when Marui’s failed to pass muster. Whipped cream was so a natural sweet! It was cream! It came from cows! Just because Marui had packed a whole can of chocolate flavored whipped cream did not mean Niou had the right to exchange lunches with him.
Marshmallows were natural too, they grew in marshes.
“I’m just saying.” Jackal passed Marui a pudding cup. “You better be thankful.”
Marui ripped the top off the pudding cup and licked the pudding off the lid. “Mmm, chocolate.” Marui grinned widely at Jackal. “Don’t worry partner, I’ll repay you beyond your wildest dreams!”
Jackal rolled his eyes and went back to poking around his lunch. “Joy.”
