Yanagi murmured huskily into Inui’s ear. The huskiness was to cover the amusement and sarcasm his voice was laden with. Of course, there was no way Sadaharu would be fooled, but Yanagi was attempting to turn Inui on instead of off.
“The indefinite/ cool air through open windows/ is an integral.” Inui stated deadpan. Yanagi laughed before kissing Inui lightly.
“Superb, Sadaharu.”
Inui’s glasses glinted. “I admit, I had prepared that in advance.”
Yanagi slid Inui’s glasses off and opened his eyes. “I realize that.” Only Inui would plan ahead to mix math and poetry.
