“Modern art is very now. Pfft.”
The art museum had amazing acoustics, so amazing that you could pick up the sound of Bane grinding his teeth after each pun echoed from the next room. The only way to keep Bane from actually attacking Davide, and getting everyone thrown out of the museum, was to separate them. Saeki was standing with Bane, occasionally grabbing Bane’s arm to keep him in place, and every once in a while gifting Bane with a consolatory pat on the arm.
“You can get through another hour right Bane?” Saeki questioned, his eyes crinkled in mild amusement. “Ryou wanted to see the new exhibits.”
That was no reason for Bane to have to endure for another hour, but Bane knew if he started a scene (and the reason Aoi hadn’t been allowed to come was because of the scene he made when he had seen nude sculptures) that they would be kicked out of the museum and Itsuki would end up frowning at him, and Ryou would plot his death, and Saeki would tease him for the rest of his life. Sighing Bane squeezed the bridge of his nose between two fingers. “I can handle this Saeki. Let’s move on to the next room.”
Unfortunately Bane was note quite fast enough leaving the room. Davide, who was stepping past the divider, caught sight of an art piece displaying two fencers. “Avant-garde.”
Bane snapped.
