The girls who had crowded Tezuka after graduation had scattered now. “All they wanted was a button Tezuka.”
Tezuka frowned as he adjusted his uniform. In one hand he held his graduation notice. “And I did not wish to give them one.”
Fuji chuckled, his own uniform coat hung open, the buttons having been stripped off as soon as the graduation ceremony ended. “It’s easier not to fight sometimes.” Tezuka gave one shake of his head and Fuji had to laugh a little more. “Well, I guess you’re never going to have your heart stolen.”
Tezuka reached up to take off the second button on his uniform. Setting his graduation announcement down on a nearby desk Tezuka reached up to grasp Fuji’s hand and pressed his button into it. “Because I’ve already given it away.”
