kat8chaI should stop tormenting myself doing these writing memes. But they make me think?
1) Keyboard or biro?
Keyboard.Did you know I had to look up with a biro was? ^^;;; Occasionally I hash things out in a notebook, but generally that's when I'm not near the computer or when I've turned the computer off for the night and NEED to get the plotbunny down. I did it a lot for AtRT's
2) Beta or no beta?
Hell, you all know me, no beta. Barely even a rereading. I finish and I post. ~lame~ You've all caught my 'you just called so-and-so something else...' issues.
3)Title?
Oh I suck at these. You know I do. Look at the number of things I've posted where I go 'do I HAVE to give it a title?'
4) Smushy or smutty?
...ummmmm, Smushy I guess.
5) Summary?
A short one yes, I'm bad at these too.
6) Funniest fic?
SuperSeme. Or at least, the one I find the most entertaining.
7) Most popular fic?
...SEE this is where I go 'my fic is popular?' Because generally people say 'omg, I stumbled on your journal and had to read ALL YOUR FIC' and I say 'oh, yay!' and then continue on with my life. People don't say 'so and so referred me for ______' and I can't say that '________' has received the most appraisal or...
Yeah. Well. Hell if I know. I guess if you go buy reviews it'd be this one ~sigh~

8) Most Fun to Write?
Damn. See, my fics are a pain in the ass. Like really, seriously, a pain in the ass. There are the fics that let me sit down, and make me write oodles and oodles for them, the fics that make me feel like I'm pushing a log uphill, the fics that come in bits and pieces, and the fics that come easy but are rarely satisfying. I can't really pick at one thing and say 'that was the most fun to write'. I loved writing Someone Permanent but that was only after struggling and struggling with the idea. Once I started it all sort of clicked. But again, As the Racket Turns was hilarious to write! It kept me occupied, it kept me up at night, I would smile to myself on the bus thinking about the next piece of it. And to all of you who don't talk to me in IM occasionally I miss it.
9) Best and Worst?
The best?
Another thing I hate about these writing memes is how they ask for my best and worst. And I think to myself 'what criteria am I using here?'. Best written? Or best fic. Worst written? Or worst fic. There's a difference in my mind.
However. I will honestly say that... whatever the fuck I did with AtRT's... it's enjoyable. I like it. Hell, I grin and laugh rereading it because it's STILL FUNNY. I might look back on it in a year and go 'how did I write that trash' like I do with a lot of my fics but as for right now it is the best.
The worst?
God, don't want to link you to this fic, or admit to it but... Tensai Industries is the fic I consider the worst. It is me blatantly abusing my characters because I had some serious self esteem issues. It is what's wrong with a lot of America's teenage girls.
10) Coulda Been Contenders?
...for what? For... like... being published? None, obviously, I write fanfic.
11) Strengths?
I'd have to say dialogue is my strength. ...but, I might be wrong? ^^;;
12) Weaknesses?
Finishing things, and descriptions. I got pissy recently because I was trying to come up with a good description for fingertips and my fingertips just weren't rough enough to give me a good example.
13) Dirty little secrets?
I don't find my own fics sexy. At all. And all the abusive stuff really embarrasses me now. I can't think about it without feeling like I'm standing naked in front of the class.
