Jan. 4th, 2008 03:17 pmDaddy and I went on an ADVENTURE.
First, I read some of the craaaaaaappy plays his students wrote. BAAAAAAAAAAD plays. Then he took me to the korean store! ...yeah, they didn't have what we needed. Mom needs buckwheat noodles b/c she's allergic to wheat, but all of the soba noodles contained regular wheat. There IS a kid without, so we went to the Asian Plaza. We stopped at this hilarious Chinese import store...
So, dad says the woman behind the counter was a Baa-san, but I'm like O-o she looked like 30 to me. She really didn't look that old.
The shop was filled with hilarious kitchy stuff. Personally, I'd have bought some of the trinkets, even though they were really cheap.
When we walked in there was this gate way to walk through. It said welcome! And when we left, it said goodbye! I was entirely too amused.
At the Asian Stop and Shop we were amazed at their HUUUUGE lobster. Like BIG lobster! Huge! And a large selection on all sorts of products. Really, really, yummy, and cheap fortune cookies too. Yum, yum. Still didn't find mom's buckwheat noodles though.
The stop and shop was FILLED with cute chinese boys. O-o All the guys working register and such were like... late teens. And CUTE.
