Summary: Fuji reveals Oishi and Eiji's secrets to each other.

“Fujiko!” Eiji’s keys jingled merrily as he stuffed them back into his pocket. Eiji stared at his feet as he toed off his shoes, missing the frozen tableau of the other rooms two occupants. In the second that Oishi had realized someone was coming he head headed for the window, to escape, get away, save Fuji from having to explain his presence. Fuji had snagged Oishi’s elbow however, and held on tightly, forcing Oishi to either battle him off or give up on escape. When Oishi had realized just who was walking through the door he hadn’t been able to move another step.

If Eiji was rooming with Fuji, and Fuji was Tsubame… it all clicked. Eiji had to be Neko-chan. Oishi was a fool to miss it before. Now Oishi could only stand and stare open mouthed as Eiji closed the door to the apartment and turned around.

“Fu-” Eiji finally turned to face them. “Oishi?”

“Eiji.” There was such a large amount of betrayal evident in Eiji’s eyes, all directed at Fuji and Oishi. Oishi blushed hotly under Eiji’s gaze.

“Eiji.” Fuji sounded so calm and unflappable that Oishi had to stifle the urge to strangle him. Or at least to yell. “I believe you’ve met Superseme.”

The betrayed look disappeared as instead Eiji looked utterly confused. Oishi turned to gape at Fuji, feeling strangely naked without his secret identity.

“Fuji!” Eiji managed to get himself under control apparently and was now stepping towards Fuji, focusing on the brunet instead of Oishi. “What…”

“I’ll leave you two alone.” Fuji cut Eiji off, walking past him to the door. Patting Eiji on the back Fuji gave both men a smile as he slipped out the door. “Don’t be too loud.” The door closed behind Fuji with an ominous click.

“Fuji really knows how to make an exit doesn’t he?” Oishi couldn’t meet Eiji’s eyes as he spoke, instead staring down at his feet. The carpet was really quite plush, Fuji must pay for it, since Oishi knew a photographers salary at the Daily Gaku wasn’t much. He really wondered what Fuji did for a living, besides having dinner with supervillans.

“He’s always leaving me to explain things.” Eiji huffed. He shuffled forward so that his feet were also within Oishi’s view. “Do you want to sit? Or some tea? Maybe…” Eiji trailed off, the tension in the room hung over them both like a rather heavy and uncomfortably itchy wool coat. Eiji shuffled his feet, the sound barely heard over their breathing. “Oishi?”

Glancing up Oishi gave Eiji a sheepish smile, knowing he wasn’t making the situation any better. Eiji pouted, looking like a ruffled pet that had been denied a treat, and Oishi couldn’t help the small sheepish laugh that slipped out as well. Eiji’s pout deepened, but soon he let out an awkward laugh as well. The laughter eased the tension a bit.

“Now that Fuji’s unmasked us both, even if I was the only one wearing a mask…” Eiji flopped down onto the large red couch that dominated what Oishi took to the den of the apartment. When Oishi did not move Eiji raised an eyebrow and gave the cushions next to him a rather meaningful pat. “Oishi.”

“Alright.” Timidly Oishi moved over to the couch and sat on the edge. “Ack!” Eyes widening to half his face Oishi flailed as the couch attempted to swallow him whole, his body sliding back from the edge as the cushions squished around him.

“Watch out, nya!” Eiji quickly grasped Oishi’s wrist and tugged him out of the couch’s hungry embrace. Standing Eiji led Oishi to sit on a small light purple love seat instead. “It does that sometimes, I think it’s because Fuji brought that couch back when he was evil.”

“You mean he’s not anymore?” Oishi made sure his tone was light, since from what he had seen Fuji’s actions could be considered circumspect most of the time.

“Only if you feed him after midnight.” Eiji retorted, relaxing back into the comforting embrace of the love seat. Once Oishi was sure this piece of furniture wouldn’t eat him he relaxed as well. “Mainly he just… cares.”

“I can tell he cares a lot about you.” Oishi stated softly, thinking back on the events of the evening. “Fuji seems to have your best interests at heart.” Even if the brunet went about things in a roundabout way.

“I know he does, but I’m not a child, and I don’t need to be looked after. I also don’t need to have him giving out my secret identity without my permission. Even if it’s to you.” Eiji was back to looking petulant, and he glared out the wide double glass windows leading to a large stone balcony.

Oishi ran his hand over his carefully coiffed hair. “To tell you the truth, Eiji, learning you and Neko-chan were one in the same was… helpful. I…” Oishi fumbled, blushing hotly as he attempted to explain his feelings. “I have found it difficult to care for people… because of my life as a super hero. But it’s difficult for me not to as well. I think… my infatuation with Taki-san was because he was able to take care of himself. But with you… I really like you. Knowing you can take care of yourself, especially against super powered enemies, makes it… easier for me to like you.” Oishi glanced away when he realized staring into Eiji’s blue eyes made him want to kiss the other man senseless. “Also, it was difficult dealing with being in love with two people at the same time. I wasn’t sure what to do with myself.”

Eiji laughed and the sound was so lighthearted it lifted Oishi’s spirits. Then Oishi found a wriggling redhead placed in his lap. “Oishi~.” Eiji tapped Oishi on the nose, then on the chip, tipping Oishi’s face upward. “I like you too, nya.” Then Eiji kissed him, a sweet slow slide of lips against his. Oishi placed his hands on Eiji’s hips, stroking his thumb over Eiji’s hipbone as the kiss went on and on, neither feeling the need to pull away. Slowly a rumbling purr built in Eiji’s chest, vibrating the redhead’s body roughly against Oishi’s.

With a gasp Oishi pulled away. “Ei-Eiji…” Oishi stopped, not sure what he was going to say next. Stop? Or go?

Eiji didn’t even bother to hesitate. Slipping off Oishi’s lap Eiji grabbed Oishi’s wrist and started pulling him in the direction of an engraved mahogany door. “Bedroom. Now.”

Fuji took another sip of… well frankly Fuji wasn’t sure what he was drinking, all he knew was it was highly alcoholic and a virulent shade of green. Fuji was also relatively sure it was named after that cute little pet project of Inui’s. Kaidoh. Fuji could not currently remember Kaidoh’s superhero name though, it was some kind of snake. The fact Fuji didn’t remember was a testament to just how high the alcohol content of the drink was. Due to Fuji’s alien physiology it either took really good liquor, or extra terrestrial liquor, to get Fuji properly buzzed.

The bartender kept glancing Fuji’s way worriedly, but Fuji had been sure to pick a bar that was metahuman friendly, and so not likely to make trouble if Fuji drank more then was humanly possible. If Fuji was asked, he’d just spin out a line about being up from St. Rudolph’s for a pleasurable weekend in Seigakuopolis.

“A pretty boy like you shouldn’t be drinking alone, you know.” Fuji glanced to his right at the sleazeball who had just sidled up to him. The kid, and he couldn’t be more then 20, had chin length brown hair and a dark headband holding it back. He wasn’t bad looking, well built, and good teeth. Not Fuji’s usual type but…

“Buy me another one of these, and I’ll take you out back and blow you.” Fuji stated with a sweet smile. The guy fumbled with his next line, obviously not expecting that response. Quickly enough he gathered his brains and bought Fuji’s next drink. The bartender was giving the kid who’d hit on Fuji the hairy eyeball now, but Fuji ignored it. He was allowed to have sexual liaisons with anyone he wanted.

Tossing back the bright green drink Fuji slipped off of his bar stool and leaned heavily against the kid’s body. “What’s your name sweetheart?”

“A-Arai.” The kid, Arai, stuttered, and Fuji groped Arai roughly through his denim pants.

“Let’s go.” Inebriated as he was Fuji found himself leading Arai through the crowd, pulling him out an emergency exit, left propped open for such liaisons as Fuji and Arai were about to engage in, and pushing the other brunet up against the wall. “Now stay still while I get your belt undone.” Fuji murmured huskily.

“Fuji.”

Fuji stopped, his body freezing up. “Now that’s a voice I haven’t heard in years.” Smiling Fuji turned to look at the mouth of the alley. “Tezuka. How nice to see you.” The streetlights backlit Tezuka, making him appear menacing as he walked towards Fuji and Arai.

“Go back inside.” Tezuka told Arai, his glasses glinting dangerously.

“Dude, I didn’t know he had a boyfriend!” Arai squeaked out, rushing back into the club.

Fuji sighed, pitiful really, no backbone at all. Crossing his arms over his chest, and leaning against the wall when his balance threatened to fail him, Fuji frowned at Tezuka. “I was having fun you know.”

“He’s not your type.” Tezuka’s voice sent a small shiver through Fuji, the same dry, almost unemotional tone as always. But Fuji had spent three years learning every nuance of Tezuka’s tone; he knew when Tezuka was teasing.

“Saa, I don’t really have a type.” Fuji waved a hand in the air. “Generally they’re just flings I barely remember in the morning. Not long term relationships.” There’s an unsaid sentence there, one that Tezuka and Fuji both know; ‘You were the exception’.

“Fuji.” Tezuka has stepped close, standing inches away from Fuji. Fuji could feel the heat radiating off of Tezuka’s body, could sense the others aura brushing against his own. Roughened fingers grasped Fuji’s chin, the pads of Tezuka’s fingers a contrast with the gentility of Tezuka’s touch as he pulled Fuji into a kiss.

Oishi lifted himself up on his elbow, smiling down at Eiji’s curled up form. Oishi stroked a hand down Eiji’s side, enjoying the way Eiji’s purring vibrated the bed. “Beautiful.” Tucking a strand of red hair behind Eiji’s ear Oishi leaned down and kissed Eiji lightly.

“You’re pretty sexy yourself.” Eiji turned onto his back, smiling up at Oishi while he pulled the black haired man on top of him. “Ready for round two?”

“Mmm.” Oishi leaned down for another kiss, freezing halfway there. “Ah, Eiji…”

“I hear it too.” Eiji grinned widely, stealing a kiss before wriggling out from underneath Oishi. “Let’s suit up and go save some lives Oishi~!”

--

Fuji rolled over in the hotel bed, reaching for the light on the bedside table. Switching it on Fuji sat up, picking up the glasses on the bedside table as he moved. “Here.” Fuji slid them onto Tezuka’s face, his fingers lingering, stroking down Tezuka’s jawline.

“Fuji.” Tezuka reached up, fingers twining in Fuji’s hair and pulling him down into a lengthy kiss.

Fuji broke the kiss with a smile. “Niou.”

There wasn’t even a pause before the features of ‘Tezuka’s’ face shifted. “Puri.” Fuji sat back on the bed and Niou sat up as well. “What gave me away Fuji?”

Fuji slipped out of the bed, unashamed of his naked body, and ignoring the way Niou’s eyes swept over it. After all, it wasn’t anything Niou hadn’t seen before, just as Niou’s body wasn’t anything Fuji hadn’t seen before. “I recognized you the minute you appeared in the alley Niou. If you don’t think I can’t recognize one of my own kind you must think me a fool.”

There were, after all, under a dozen Petenshi on the planet, and Fuji’s family made up 3 of them.

“I was surprised when you went along with it.” Niou purred. “I expected you to tell me no after the kiss.”

“I had my reasons,” Fuji slipped into his clothes, “just as you had your reasons for seducing me. What were those reasons by the way?”

“Always so straightforward.” Fuji and Niou sent each other amused glances, both knew Fuji was far from straightforward. Niou slipped out of the bed, gathering his own clothes, but not bothering to put them on. “You know why I am here.”

Fuji nodded, his fingers flying as he buttoned up his shirt. “Yukimura.”

Niou smirked. “Of course.”

Fuji nodded, searching for his belt. “I’m not coming back you know.” Finding his belt Fuji slipped it into his belt loops, turning he found himself face to face with Niou.

“You know why he sent me.” Niou gripped Fuji’s arm tightly.

“Because you can be anyone.” It was such a Yukimura tactic, to attack Fuji’s weakness like that. “I’m really not that hard up.” Fuji wouldn’t mind having a relationship with Niou, it was just the strings attached that put Fuji off.

Niou let go of Fuji with a shrug. “Well, I’ll tell him I made the offer.”

Fuji frowned, knowing that had been too easy, and Niou’s easy smile said that there was undoubtedly a nasty repercussion for refusing Yukimura’s offer. But Fuji knew the trap wouldn’t be sprung quite yet. Fuji shook his head from side to side as he left the room.

Niou set his clothes on the bed, flopping down onto the other side as he reached for the remote and flipped the television on. “Hey, I’m not the one who’ll be dealing with Yukimura when he invades this cute little town.” Niou smirked, watching the news coverage of SuperSeme and Neko-chan’s foiling of a bank robbery. “They are.”

--

Oshitari frowned down at the official memo sitting on his desk. This wasn’t possible. It couldn’t be happening. Atobe was coming to visit in a month to check on how the branch was doing. “Is something wrong?” Gakuto flounced over to behind Oshitari’s chair, wrapping arms around Yuushi’s uptight shoulders. “Yuuushi?”

“We have a problem.” Oshitari closed up the memo. “But we have close to a month to shut down the experimental labs. Enough time to prep the staff as well.”

Gakuto screwed up his face. “Atobe.”

Oshitari nodded, his eyes burning into the paper. The fire was not the disgust and jealousy Gakuto was exhibiting, but instead the emotion in Oshitari’s eyes was a deep unsettling hunger.
