“It doesn’t make sense!” Kirihara screamed in frustration, tempted to throw the controller at Yukimura’s head but having enough sense to refrain. “You never play video games! How’re you so good?”
Yukimura chuckled, setting down his own controller with a bland smile. “It’s beginners luck Akaya.”
Kirihara was tempted to kick the game console, but that cost money and his parents would make him buy his own if he broke it. Turning off the game Kirihara scowled down at the stupid bratty piece of machinery that loved Yukimura more. “It’s always beginners luck, buchou, even when you come back and play the game the second or third or fourth time! I’m not buying it any longer!” Flailing his arms in the air Kirihara eventually ended up pointing an accusatory finger in Yukimura’s face. “You have scary voodoo video game powers! Admit it!”
Yukimura reached up and slowly pushed the finger out of his face, his slim fingers brushing up and down Kirihara’s arm and making him relax. “Alright, I have scary voodoo powers. Better?”
Kirihara’s shoulders slumped first, then the rest of him, executing a non too graceful fall over Yukimura’s lap. “No.” Kirihara moaned mournfully as he nuzzled into Yukimura’s shoulders.
Yukimura shook his head and sighed. “It’s a good thing you never played these games with Yanagi, Akaya. He would drive you mad.”
Imagining Yanagi using his scary data powers and somehow dissecting the game made Kirihara whimper and curl closer. Buchou’s voodoo powers were way less scary.
