kat8chaRyan Evans never really wanted to be a singer.
When Ryan was younger Ryan wanted to play baseball. Ryan would have been good at it too, maybe not good enough to be in the major leagues, but Ryan would have had fun. Sadly, baseball had nothing to do with Sharpay (one of the reasons Ryan liked it) and after that one glorious moment of being the **winner** instead of being his sister's accessory Ryan was delegated back to the shadows. Sharpay was the baby of the family, the star, and the limelight stealer. She'd been stealing the spotlight since she was born, five minutes before Ryan. Ryan was damn sure she'd pushed him out of the way.
Highschool was supposed to be a new start, a fresh start, at least that's what everyone told you. Ryan had never even gotten to look at the sign up's for baseball before his sister had dragged him to the first drama club meeting of the year. Then it had been play after play after competition after competition, always at Sharpay's side. Ryan didn't really mind, he loved his sister, really he did, but she got… tiresome. Actually Ryan had been kind of glad when Sharpay met Troy, it meant, maybe, that he would have a chance at escaping his sister's weekly manicured clutches. Troy was totally uninterested though, and Ryan's position as Sharpay's (bitch) partner was secure.
Chad had nothing to do with Sharpay. In fact, if Chad could help it he'd never be in the same room as Sharpay, and definitely wouldn't ever be doing the same activity. That was just one reason why Ryan might feel just the tiniest smidgen of lust for him. Ryan had no problem admitting he did feel lust for the guy, he did musical theatre, his sexuality crises was resolved years ago, but Ryan didn't want to admit his crush on Chad was quite as bad as it was.
But Chad played **baseball**, and Ryan didn't really need much more of an incentive then that to crush hot, hard, and heavy, on Chad.
Though the fact that Chad's body wasn't half bad didn't hurt things.
