Nomura sighed as practice ended before he got to play again
. With Mizuki as St. Rudolph's manager, and Akazawa as the captain Nomura was forced to run around and left with very little time to actually participate in practices. He generally got in a few laps and practice swings, but no real training.
Mizuki had told Nomura that as vice-captain Nomura was, essentially, his bitch. Mizuki was so dominating and Nomura had never really been that good at fighting back, so Nomura spent practices running around, doing errands, helping other with their stretches…
Forlornly looking up at the clubhouse Nomura trudged off. He could have practiced on his own right now, but that would mean skipping dinner. St. Rudolph's was very strict about meal times, and they took a roll call at each meal. If you missed a meal you were sent to the counselor's office to talk about your 'problems'.
After dinner Nomura wouldn't have any time either, he had a lot of homework since he was in all of the advanced classes St. Rudolph's offered. If he fell behind Nomura's parents would remove him from the tennis team. Nomura was lucky to get his homework done before lights out, and after lights out the nun's roamed the halls, there was no hope of any practice getting done then.
Nomura sighed. Maybe tomorrow there'd be some time for him to play.
