kat8chaNiou thought that no matter how aesthetically pleasing you looked you had to smell good as well.
Kirihara's cousin wasn't bad to look at, but he reeked of synthetic scents. Kirihara smelled like a teenage boy, but Niou figured he'd grow out of that eventually. Jackal smelled spicy, like curry, and while it was a nice smell Niou did not find it sexy in the least.
Niou'd always been a nose guy. It was how he picked what he wanted to eat, and what clothes weren't completely ruined and could go another week before getting washed. He'd like to think he picked Yagyuu because of his scent too, though he realized later that even if Yagyuu smelled as flowery as Yukimura Niou would still have gone for him.
Yagyuu smelled clean, not antiseptic clean, but a nice mellow clean. His mom liked babypowder scented soaps, and so for a few hours after a shower Yagyuu would always smell so clean that Niou had to smother the urge to pounce and dirty him up again. Niou hadn't been able to figure out why sea-breeze deoderant smelled so good on Yagyuu, when on anyone else it generally made Niou twitch. Even Yagyuu smelled good when he sweated, salty and just a little rank, but there was something dark and primal in Niou that knew after a long bout of sex Yagyuu smelled the same.
Niou could spend an entire day just smelling and tasting Yagyuu, but he doubted Yagyuu would let him.
Yagyuu found Niou's kinks offensive and invasive after all.
