kat8chaSo I finally saw Spiderman 3. Well.... I have mixed feelings about it.
I can't BELIEVE they killed Harry. That was not a good idea. Though you could see the foreshadowing in Harry's hospital stay. Still, Harry and Mary Jane are what balance Peter out, they're what affect him. They also affect each other. Harry helps give Mary Jane someone else to turn too, even if it's a horrible temptation and she can't turn it down, and Mary Jane is someone that Harry wants because he can't have her. They're a triangle. You did NOT just cut the tip off my triangles bitches. I better find some good porn tonight to make up for it.
And MJ... MJ... I know you've got an abusive Daddy but DO NOT DATE PETER AGAIN. >_< I'm sorry, I know PART of it was the Symbiote, but part of it was Peter, and that is not okay. Do you hear me script writers? Through the whole movie MJ kept reminding me of a babysitting client. Her wardrobe choices, smile, the way she wore her hair... >_< It was distracting.
Sandman was REALLY well done, graphic wise, but the cinematography at points... I can't recall the type of shot they used, but they've used it a lot for the Spiderman movies, this time it was just badly done at points. It's the shot where they focus on either the person's face up front or the action in the background... there's this once scene in Peter's apartment that makes me TWITCH because you have this BLURRY moving Aunt May and you don't really NEED to see Peter's face.
Toby Maguire also looked generally unattractive this time around. He's put on some weight around the edges, and has that unattractive under the chin fat (which I have too, hence why I REALLY hate it). There was also a lot of crying in this movie. A LOT. >_< Pete, I can understand getting depressed but... god. I hate when men cry. I know it sounds bad, and sexist, but I hate it when girls cry too, I just hate men crying more.
