Jun. 27th, 2007 02:34 pmKurobane twitched, glancing over his shoulder. He felt likeā¦
he was being watched. Scowling he scooped up more sand into his bucket and continued building his sand castle. His neighbor, Saeki, was playing volleyball with two girly boys and one girl. Kurobane refused to play volleyball with Saeki and his new friends though. Before Fuji came along and introduced Saeki to his family Kurobane had been Saeki's only friend. It was unfair that Saeki got new friends and left Kurobane in the dust.
Suddenly there was a tug on Kurobane's pail and he turned to glare at whoever was interrupting him. Blinking he stared at surprised brown eyes and a mop of wild red hair.
"Sandcastles won't win against the sands of time." The little kid intoned solemnly before snorting and starting to giggle.
