kat8cha I HATE it when people are mean to each other. Grrrr!!!!
....I think my mood deserves another grr. Can I growl again? -_- Grr. It's not that people are being particularly mean, and sure sometimes people lie all the time! But what gets me is when people assume other's are lying just because they don't know the whole story and refuse to listen to anyone else's side. They make up their own preconceptions. Maybe it's just a me thing, since I generally assume that people are telling the truth.
This has, of course, gotten me into situations where the wool has to be ripped from my eyes. I cannot help it, I like people, I think people are generally nice and upfront. I try to believe that even if they can not tell other people the truth they might at least tell Me. Maybe I just don't project 'understanding' and 'open' as well as I wish. -_- Or I just hang out with the wrong people. It's probably the latter.
I want more Vampirates, but Jones has been late updating and I respect that Drawing pages of a comic book has GOT to be tough, I mean you have to handle story and art. And the art of Vampirates is AMAZING. Plus! Vampires + Pirates = <333333333333333333 It fills the gap that Sublunary left. :( Sublunary, of course, did not have the best art. >_< In fact, near the beginning the art was pretty crappy. Didn't make it any less fun! And hey, the scientists wander around in fishnet. XD This is a fictional world.
Hm. I didn't realize the girl who does Avalon was still on it. I really liked that comic for a while, though hell if I could tell you what it's about. XD It doesn't really have a plot? ^_^;;;; Least not a memorable one. Another good Vampire, yes another vampire one, is Arcana, which is dead. The art's great and I would do ANYTHING for more Sloane in the world. Clipped Wings is another dead comic :( another one that I really liked. I really really really liked Vaux. He was full of awesome and apparently the type of character to take over an author's mind. XD. Pandect is alive and kicking, and the art is good and the storyline is amazing. If you want to pick it up though I suggest skipping a lot of the beginning. ^_^;;;; It gets boring. I'm sure that, for anyone on my flist, someone has suggested the comic MegaTokyo. I admit to being an avid reader, and it really is a good comic. I wish though that there was more BOOM! It's been all about relationships lately. While I don't MIND that, because the writing is still good and the art is always fabulous...
I want more boom. :(
Ergh, I'm itchy all over because of the sun today. I was FINE about it, and I'd even put on sunscreen this morning before we headed out! I wish my sister and the kouhai had actually been interested in the parade. :\ I didn't mind skipping it, but I still like seeing the parade. *I* think it's fun. ~sigh~ Oh well, we'll go to Parade the Circle in a few weeks, and that'll be bigger and better I guess.
I need No-chan to sign on so she can beta!!!!
Oh, don't know if I mentioned this, but I finally got Love Pistols Vol. 1 (aka - Sex Pistols)!!!! I ordered it off Amazon along with Melusine. You were right Tan, I'm really enjoying it! It's easier starting off in the beginning then it was starting off in the middle. XD OMG Love Pistols is WORTH IT. I mean, I don't like the fact that instead of a 'returner to ancestry' it's a 'missing link' and that Madarui became 'zooman' or 'President' becoming 'Chairman'. I think Pres sounds better. But still, it's easy to understand and VERY enjoyable and the art is what makes this a GREAT buy. I mean, I am holding Shiro and Yonekuni sex. My little sis loved it too. XD
And I REFUSE to cut this unless bothered.
Edit: Okay, so I'm a hypocrite and I'm mean to other people all the time. There's a lot of things I could say about this but obviously it's not going to sooth anyone I've been mean to. I'm rarely mean out of actual spite, more because of frustration and anger and sheer lack of tact. I try to avoid losing it when possible and a lot of the time this means venting on my LJ or in AIM. It happens. I know, it's mean and cruel of me not to confront the other person, especially if they find out later about it b/c I'm stupid and use their names. I happen to know that people who I find irritating one minute probably won't be irritating the next because I'm a horrible person like that.
