kat8chaSaeki always accuses Ryou of imagining someone else when they're together.
Ryou doesn't think Saeki should talk because Ryou knows it isn't his name Saeki groans when their teenage fumbling have taken them over the edge of orgasm. There are days when Ryou thinks that maybe he and Saeki could hack it out, they could be Ryou and Saeki and not Ryou and Saeki and assorted ghosts. Then Saeki gets a far off gleam in his eye or Ryou spots a red headband or white gloves and the illusion is shattered.
Ryou thinks it might be easier if Rokkakku and Seigaku did not keep running into each other. Ryou never remembers Seigaku being a big presence in other years and he figures this year it has something to do with Echizen and the fact that everyone wants a piece of him. Training with Seigaku is good for Rokkaku though, and it makes them stronger. It isn't good for Ryou and Saeki though because Saeki spends his time charming Fuji Syuusuke. This leaves Ryou with too much time to think, no one likes to talk to him when he's hiding under his hat and smirking, and Ryou ends up thinking about Tokyo because Seigaku is from there. Thinking about Tokyo leads to thinking about St. Rudolph and what Atsushi might be doing that day.
Ryou often accuses Saeki of being a pervert. Ryou knows that he's the real pervert though, and from the look in Saeki's eyes so does Saeki. Saeki never mentions it though and Ryou's glad because saying the names of their ghosts out loud would ruin everything. Ryou pretends not to notice the way Saeki anxiously awaits news of Seigaku's matches, or stares at lithe blonds until they turn around and reveal they're not who he hoped they were. Saeki turns a blind eye to the fact that Ryou has a lock of Atsushi's hair in a locket, or that Ryou has a kink for having sex in front of a mirror.
And some days Ryou and Saeki and assorted ghosts will become Ryou and Saeki and buried memories, or so Ryou hopes.
