May. 7th, 2009 01:00 amI HIGHLY RECOMMEND BLOODY MONDAY to anyone who likes thrillers, fake hacking technobabble (srsly, IDK if half that shit's possible), doesn't mind blood, and is a manic fan of Xanatos Gambits.
Although, I want bad touching. >_<;;; I KNOW THAT IS ENTIRELY MY FAULT for being... me. But but but.
The cheeeeeeeeemistry. And fuck, Miura Haruma's crying face. Srsly, every time that kid started to cry I got misty eyed. HE WAS REALLY IMPRESSIVE. He does the most amazing betrayed face, and when he started to cry and his chin wobbles and he BITES HIS LOWER LIP.
UWAAAAAAAAAAAA.
Very impressive. ...utilized often, but very impressive.
Anyway. Yes. I totally want J/Takagi, and J/Otoya, and maybe some J/Takagi/Otoya. Or hell, Takagi/Otoya would rock my sox, or Takagi/Otoya/Aoi. Even though Aoi is FLAT. Like, totally 2 dimensional. There's more dimension to Haruka, and she's passed out or clueless most of the time she's on screen! It's not a live action to watch if you want well developed female characters. The cool ones die, or get shuttled off screen after 5 minutes. And, I'll be honest, there's not a lot of character development in general. Lots of twists and turns, yes, but...
Still, very enjoyable. Left me wanting more. I might stalk down the manga and see if that's any good. And end up shipping the yaoi more. I SWEAR. Kamen Rider Decade is the only thing I watch that I actively ship het in, and that's a het OT3.
Srsly. There's either something wrong with me, or there's something wrong with Japan's portrayal of women.
