“Unlucky.” Sengoku hit his head against his desk repeatedly.
Maybe if he did it often enough some of Yamabuki’s great education would make its way into his thick skull. “That was a total disaster!”
“What’d you do anyway?” Minami was picking his way through his bento, ignoring Sengoku’s attempt to splattering brain matter over school property. “School started today, you can’t have done anything too bad.”
“Can too.” Sengoku muttered before propping his chin up on his hands. Gazing forlornly up at Minami Sengoku fluttered his eyelashes. “It’s a sign of the apocalypse Minami!” Minami snorted, rapping Sengoku on the head with his chopsticks.
“Having a girl turn you down is not a sign of the apocalypse dummy. You asked out a senior.”
The orange haired teen pouted, reaching into Minami’s bento and stealing his squid shaped sausage. “No girl can resist the Kiyosumi charm! No boy either.”
“….” Closing up his bento Minami decided that he’d definitely heard that wrong. “I’m going back to my classroom. I’ll see you after school. Goodbye.” Sengoku’s laugh followed him out into the hallway and Minami became aware that his cheeks were on fire.
Sengoku couldn’t know about his crush could he?
